Departure from Como, sailing north along the western shore. Stops include:

  • Starting point: dock of Sant’Agostino in Lungo Lario Trieste 26 a Como
  • Como
    • Villa Olmo: imposing, neoclassical, scenic. Villa Olmo is one of Como's pearls, often the venue for exhibitions and cultural events. It is our final farewell... or the start of our next trip.
  • Cernobbio: Timeless elegance. Cernobbio is one of the best-loved centres of Lake Como, thanks to its well-kept lakeside promenade, open-air cafés and the scenic presence of Villa d'Este. A perfect starting point for exploring the lake, but also an ideal place to stop and breathe in beauty.
    • Villa d'Este: an icon of luxury hospitality since 1873, today it is a legendary hotel. Its Italian-style gardens and majestic façade make it one of the most scenic villas on the lake.
    • Villa Erba: an elegant 19th-century mansion with a past as a film set. It was also the childhood home of Luchino Visconti. Today it hosts international events and fairs.
  • Moltrasio: a village of stone and poetry, nestled between the lake and the woods. Moltrasio is famous for its historic villas, narrow alleys and refined but unostentatious atmosphere. Here time seems to slow down, accompanied only by the sound of water and bells in the distance.
    • Villa Fontanelle: once owned by Gianni Versace, it is the emblem of Italian style and aesthetics in the world. Every detail tells of the great designer's unmistakable taste.
  • Laglio: world-famous thanks to George Clooney, but much more than a cover residence. Laglio is a serene and luminous corner of the lake, where the water reflects the mountains and historic villas alternate with breathtaking natural views. Glamour and simplicity coexist to perfection.
    • Villa Oleandra (George Clooney's residence in Laglio): the most famous on the lake? Probably so. Villa Oleandra is George Clooney's residence and has helped bring Hollywood glamour back to the shores of Lake Como. Discreet, but irresistibly photogenic.
  • Isola Comacina: the only island on Lake Como, a place rich in history and spirituality. Amidst medieval ruins and breathtaking views, Comacina Island is a stage out of time, immersed in nature and silence.
  • Villa del Balbianello: perhaps the most scenic on Lake Como, suspended between water and sky. Famous for its terraced gardens and for having been the set of films such as Star Wars and 007. An unmissable stopover between history, cinema and breathtaking scenery.
  • Menaggio: A little gem with a Mediterranean flavour, with its flower-filled lakeside promenade, sunny little squares and lively but relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for a lunch stop, a swim or a stroll around its most authentic corners.
  • Varenna: more reserved, more intimate, but just as charming. Varenna is the romantic side of the lake: a village with warm colours, embraced by the mountain and kissed by the water. Its narrow streets and small piers seem designed for those seeking tranquillity and poetry.
    • Villa Monastero: with its very long lakeside garden of palm trees, cypresses, statues and panoramas that chase each other for over a kilometre, it is a place that invites to slowness and wonder.
  • Bellagio: elegant, lively, unmistakable. Known as the 'pearl of Lake Como', Bellagio is a tangle of cobbled alleyways, flower-filled stairways and terraces overlooking the water. Strolling here is like moving through a painting, among artisanal boutiques, cafés with a view and views that steal the heart.
    • Villa Melzi: with its botanical garden winding along the shore: an oasis of silent beauty, where nature and art meet in perfect balance.
    • Villa Serbelloni: not visitable internally, but visible from the lake, this villa dominates Bellagio from above and is surrounded by a monumental park offering breathtaking views. Now home to a cultural foundation, it is one of the most striking symbols of the lake.
  • Nesso and the Orrido: a true spectacle of nature, the village of Nesso overlooks a narrow and spectacular gorge, where a rushing waterfall cascades into the lake. A dramatic and evocative place that always leaves you open-mouthed.
  • Villa Pliniana: one of the most scenic and mysterious villas on the lake, set in the rock and shrouded in legend. It was frequented by poets, scientists and illustrious personalities. Its charm has remained intact, suspended between wild nature and Renaissance architecture.
  • Torno: picturesque, intimate, romantic. Its colourful houses overlooking the water look like something out of a painting. Torno is one of the most charming villages on the lake, with its quiet little harbour, ancient churches and that feeling of being suspended in time.
  • Villa Taverna: an aristocratic residence of rare beauty, famous for its English-style garden and spectacular view of the opposite bank. A corner of tranquillity and refinement.
  • Blevio: a cosy village, nestling between the lake and the slopes of Monte Boletto. Blevio is the classic place that you discover slowly, amidst period villas, silent views and a pace of life that smells of authenticity. A small treasure chest of tranquillity, just a few minutes from Como.
    • Villa Troubetzkoy: a hidden gem surrounded by greenery, with a discreet elegance that recalls its Russian aristocratic origins. A romantic villa, often ignored by the more crowded tourist routes.
    • Villa Cademartori: elegant and refined, it overlooks the lake with its sober and stately façade. Once the summer residence of the noble Cademartori family, today it retains its late 19th-century aristocratic charm, framed by a well-kept park and an enchanting view.
    • Villa Roccabruna (now Mandarin Oriental Hotel): an old mansion converted into a luxury hotel, Villa Roccabruna retains the austere charm of the 19th century. Its location, surrounded by cypress and olive trees, is pure poetry by the lake.
  • Return: dock of Sant’Agostino in Lungo Lario Trieste 26 a Como
